Nemisah's Story

I began my career at Enterprise seven years ago working in our Rental division. After a year or so, I realized it wasn't the right fit for me. Leaving Enterprise, however, was never an option; I loved the people and the culture, so I decided to speak with my Area Manager about other career opportunities. When I approached my manager, he was very supportive, and he went out of his way to help me find a new career path. After learning more about the Enterprise Liability Claims Operation (ELCO) division, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I transferred to ELCO and, after several promotions, I currently serve as Liability Manager, former Liability Claims Supervisor.

The variety of people at Enterprise is extraordinary. We all have different backgrounds and life experiences, yet we all share a common purpose. It's great to come to work every day and know that your colleagues will be interested in not only your work, but also in you as a person.

We have a very strong sense of team. Most people think that being a claims adjuster is a job where you spend lots of time by yourself, but our team encourages our representatives to discuss claims and find solutions together. Each week we hold a litigation round table where we pool our thoughts and develop plans that work for the company. Just like the people in our department — no two claims are alike.

I enjoy working for Enterprise because people recognize our brand no matter where you go. Whenever I tell people that I work at Enterprise, they instantly smile and tell me how much they like the company. It's a great feeling.

My favorite founding value is "Enterprise is a fun and friendly place where teamwork rules." The environment at Enterprise is like nothing else I have ever experienced. I come to work every day energized and ready to face new challenges and share my experiences with my co-workers. The people I work with are some of my best friends, and I know the relationships I have established here will last for a lifetime.

When I'm not working, I love touring downtown Chicago, especially the theater district, museums and all the great restaurants. I am also a huge Cubs fan and have spent many Saturdays watching their games and hanging out at Wrigley Field.

While I work hard for Enterprise, they work hard for me as well. I feel fortunate to be part of this company and to have the opportunity to make a difference every day.
