Andree's Story
Paul “Andree” Grinnage
Area Manager, Marlow Heights, MDAs a single father with a four-year-old son, I really couldn't ask for more support than what Enterprise has given to Kendall and me. They most definitely have offered the flexibility and willingness to accommodate our needs as they arise. That says a lot about this company.
Time is precious, so I try to spend it well at work and with Kendall. The culture here is very unique. I've had fun at every office I've worked in and the people here really work together to make every day a good day. Customers see that, too, so I think everyone benefits. And I'm always out to have fun with Kendall, whether it's having a light saber duel in the park as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, or sketching together at night. I'm the layout artist and he's the finisher. He has an incredible eye for detail. You can't believe how his skills and confidence have improved.
At work, I'm most proud that I've accomplished success and that people above me have confidence in my skills. From the beginning, you learn to step up to the plate and take responsibility, so as people get promoted, the culture lives on.
As I was coming up, I had many people helping me, so that was a highlight I looked forward to, giving back after I got promoted.
My favorite value is, "Our doors are open." I find that upper management is accessible and I work hard to make sure anyone can come talk to me about anything. We're always looking at ways to improve performance.
What I like is that you're not just renting cars at Enterprise. You learn so many great things in your work life that can apply to your everyday life. You can get spoiled in an environment
