Ann's Story
Ann Roggeman
Fleet Services - Senior Account Manager, Chicago, IL
When people ask me about my career at Enterprise, one word always comes to mind and that's opportunity. Throughout my entire career, Enterprise has always provided me the tools, resources and endless opportunities to grow myself both professionally and personally. If you work hard, you will succeed.
Today, after 14 years with the company, I serve as Account Manager of Fleet Services for my group where I oversee and manage 45 different customer fleets. Fleet Services provides guidance and products for businesses to manage their fleets — usually comprising 15 to 125 vehicles — at the highest productivity levels and lowest costs. I am responsible for managing the customer relationships. I'm part sales person, part consultant, part manager.
The thing I enjoy most about my career is the people. I not only have trusted colleagues, but also dear friends. I know that they care about me as a person and not just as a co-worker.
Our open door policy with management at Enterprise is amazing. I know that no matter what is on my mind, my manager is there to listen to my concerns and help me find a solution. I have experienced first-hand their genuine investment in my career and professional development. I have always been rewarded for my hard work.
My favorite Founding Value is "Customer service is our way of life." Being in Fleet Services and managing customer accounts, I am part of that commitment to superior service every day. At Enterprise, we go above and beyond to ensure we remain at the top of our industry. It's unlike anything I have ever experienced and I am proud to be a part of it.
Outside of work, I stay busy with my one-year-old twins, Grace and Grant. People often ask me how I balance my family and my professional life, and I simply tell them that I have a wonderful husband, an incredible family and, most of all, I work for an amazing company. Without these three essentials, my success today would not be possible.
